    Story

The Padua children's ward have treated and taken care of many friends and families little ones. They really do such an amazing job and the staff are really caring and lovely. Sadly their books available to patients are very old, battered, torn and mostly stuck together with sellotape. I wanted to share my passion of books by helping them replace the books available on the ward. The books play a very important roll for long and short stay patients as well as a great distraction whilst having treatment. I work with Usborne books and love being able to help schools, clubs etc new books. After doing an auction last summer and donating £252 in books I realised just how important new books will mean to the children and staff. Especially as some of the books date back to the 70's. My aim is too raise £1000 in donations which Usborne books will then add 60% extra in free books.
Thank you for reading and supporting
    Best wishes
    Jo xx

Great campaign and happy to support. My son had a short stay on Padua as a newborn so I'm pleased to be able to give something back.

Books are so important for children and will help their imaginations take them to a world outside of the hospital ward. I have shared with local people too. Good luck x

Good luck with your campaign. Reading is my passion, you learn something new from every book you read, and they are a great distraction.
