Paige Patching is like every other 17 year old girl. She likes music, clothes & her mobile phone is never out of her hand.
But......since she was diagnosed with MS Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 14, Paige's life contains so much more. From MRIs to Steroids, Wheelchair to operations. Nutrient shakes to TPN Feeds. Doctors, nurces, more doctors, physio & anaesthetists.
Oh.....sarcasm. Paige has a Masters in sarcasm, just ask her neurologist 😎
Paige has been in hospital for 11 months. Sadly Sepsis struck meaning Paige spent Christmas in hospital. At the time of writing this Paige is once again battling Sepsis (2nd January)
Thanks to the overwhelming support for the initial fundraiser Her mum, Nicky, (who has to leave work) can do so without worrying about money for a while . Paige also has a new bed that is fitted to her needs.
Sadly as the carer's allowance Nicky will get is a pittance.
Paige being ill doesn't mean the bills don't need paying. We want to continue raise enough to take pressure off Nicky.
When Paige is home Nicky will need to set her up on TPN (Total Parental Nutrition) & change another feed every 4 hours during the night.
