Story
As most of you will be aware I lost my husband and best friend to head and neck cancer on 9th February 2017. During Paul's courageous fight we were supported by a team of Macmillan nurses. Their kindness and compassion to both Paul and myself was immeasurable. Paul said repeatedly that he intended to give something back to the people who helped make a hard situation better on the most darkest days.
Paul was expertly cared for by the Queens centre and recieved his last 3 cycles of chemotherapy on ward 32. We as a family would like to give a donation to them for making us feel so welcome.
Our journey started and sadly ended on ward 120 where the maxillofacial team looked after Paul with the utmost care and compassion and for that we would also like to donate something to the staff for their hard work and dedication to the job.
So my ask to you all is for you to donate whatever you can to help me give back to those that helped give Paul and our family so much.
Thankyou all for your thoughts and kinds words.
