My name is Jess Pindar and I love golf!

I have been invited to the 2017 Junior World Golf Championships in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The tournament will take place on 3rd- 5th August. I only got my invite two days ago (26th May 2017) which means I have under 2 months to raise the funds to compete in the pinnacle of junior golf competitions.

To play at Pinehurst has always been a dream! Please help me make this a reality!

Here is a brief history of my achievements-

I started playing golf 4 years ago.

I joined Eccleston Park Golf Club in February 2015.

I entered the National Tiger Club Championships at Gainsborough Golf Club. I competed in the 9-11 category (aged 9) I finished 4th overall, the highest placed girl.

I joined the Lancashire Ladies County Golf Association in July 2015.

I competed with LLCGA at Hart Common. I scored 72 points over 18 holes and this turned out to be the highest points total in LLCGA history.

April 2016, I won my Regional qualifier at the Wee Wonders competition by 11 shots. I then went on to play in the regional finals and qualified for the National Finals at St Andrews Golf Course, Scotland.

April 2016 I played Royal Lytham St Annes with the LLCGA I finished 1st.

August 2016 I finished 4th in the US Kids British Open at Woodhall Spa.

I played in the American Golf National Finals after I won my regional qualifier. It was for players aged 10-18 years old, I finished 5th and appeared on Sky Sports 4.

I was selected for the Eccleston Park team in the South West Lancs League, finishing as the teams highest points scorer and I won my first major at Eccleston, I am the first ever girl to do this.

I has also been named as Junior Vice Captain for the 2018 season and Junior Captain for the 2019 season.

I have recently joined The West Lancashire Golf Club and I won my first competition with 40 points.

I reduced my handicap from 36 to 22 in the past 12 months.
