We are a group of mums working hard to raise enough money to improve all the local lparks in our lovely village.....our 1st priority is to get a full new park installed at the bottom of the village as the current one has been removed due health and safety. We have been left with an unsightly piece of land and the children deserve better.
To replace this park alone will cost around £100000. We then plan to update the existing very old and small parks in Saline and Steelend.
We have only been fundraiser for 6 months and have already raised £4000 through holding events in our village and the genorousity of our community .......but for 2017 we wanted to do something that would challenge us all and raise money at the same time so as a group we will be climbing Ben Nevis on the 10th of June 2017.
