I just wanted to give you one final update. We are delighted to report that Princess has been given the all-clear by the vet. Life can now go back to 'normal' - but by no stretch of the imagination can we ever be called 'normal'. Thank you all so much for your amazing donations - Nigel and I are truly humbled by your generosity.

We are now nearing the end of Phase 2 and Princess is doing really well. The vet is very pleased with her as is Sharon at the Hydrotherapy Pool. We did a controlled 3 mile walk with her today and she loved it. Thank you all so much for your donations. We really appreciate your help.

It was a bit stressful at the vets this morning but the dressings are all off. We put the 'Cone of Shame' on her but she was really distressed so we've taken it off now and she's a lot happier. Just laying and dozing and one of us is always keeping an eye on her as she must not lick the stitches. If all goes well though they come out on Tuesday so fingers and toes crossed. We will pop the cone on at night and pop her in her cage so she will be safe :) xx
