Story
Andrea Harter and Michaela Howard Holt are tireless animal campaigners. They have devoted their lives to fighting cruelty, and to helping abandoned and abused animals to find loving homes.
For many years they have campaigned against puppy farming: exposing the terrible conditions that many dogs live in, in order to provide a constant stream of puppies for sale.
Recently, they have held demonstrations at a well known trader in puppy farm dogs in the North West of England. This tireless, peaceful campaign has lead to them being handed an injunction, and £40,000 in court costs.
Please help these two amazing, selfless campaigners to cover a small portion of their costs: they fought hard for the voiceless: now it's time to show them the love they deserve.

7 years agoHi All! The fund raising is over and we've raised close to an amazing 2.5 thousand to help Mic and Annti cover their costs. This case is a worrying precident for freedom to protest in a democracy, and youve helped to show we stick together when they try to shut us down. Thank you, so much.

8 years agoIt's been an amazing first day: since going live roughly five hours ago, we've raised over £800. It's a fantastic testament to Annti and Michelle, and to the generosity of this community. Please keep sharing to get the word out!

Keep up the good work, keep positive, one day I believe there will be no pet shops selling puppies or kittens, and we need to educate everyone not to buy from them, not to buy from selling sites.
