The St Bede's annual RAG Week is fast approaching, and this year we will be supporting Cancer Research UK, St Catherine's Hospice, Hemihelp UK and The A21 Campaign. Our fundraising endeavours include lunchtime events at school, the RAG launch, the RAG show and the Auction of Promises. Many students are undertaking individual challenges for sponsorship, including a cycle from Amsterdam to Redhill in 48 hours, walking to Redhill from Brighton, leg waxing and running a half marathon. As Senior Students, Esther and I are heavily involved in the organisation of RAG Week, and we have decided to donate 10 - 12 inches of hair each to the Little Princess Trust, who provide wigs for children who have lost their own hair as a result of cancer treatment and other illnesses. Any donations for our fundraising attempts would be hugely appreciated!
