    Story

On Riverbank Children's Ward and Children's Assessment Unit at Bedford Hospital, we see thousands of children, and their families every year. Each child is unique and so are their physical abilities, and we want to provide them with a bright, colourful, safe, fun and inclusive playground; that allows them to escape the confines of their cubicle or bay. Some of our patients are with us for significant periods of time, and are unable to leave the unit for days, weeks or occasionally months at a time. Our current play area is in serious decline, and we desperately need to raise the funds to allow a complete refit, complete with safety surface, climbing frame, integrated road maps, traffic signs and cars, Sensory play panels, benching and more. We are asking our local Community to support this project, and focus their fundraising efforts on giving our fabulous children the since they need.
