We’re really disappointed to report that the caravan at Ladram Bay is no longer available to us. On a positive note we are no longer bound by the tight fundraising deadline, and this has given us time to re-evaluate where we go from here.

Long term we still intend to buy our own caravan, but for now we are able to provide holidays in a variety of places thanks to some amazing offers of help - donations of weeks in peoples’ own holiday homes, and other fundraising including some generous monthly standing orders.

This means we can start arranging holidays immediately and will be able to offer holidays all year round as we’re no longer restricted to the holiday park’s season.

We’ll rebrand to Rob’s Retreats as we’ll now be offering holidays at different locations. Due to the change in circumstances since we set our Just Giving target, we will of course reimburse anyone who is unhappy with the changes.

Our intention remains the same “to offer free holidays to bereaved children so they have the opportunity to spend quality time with their families".

Our aim is not to replace existing precious memories, but to help create new ones and let children know it is still OK to smile.
