In 2018, I will be traveling to Uttarakhand, India with 'World Challenge' to help and support families and schools with a group of students from my Sixth Form.

We will be in India for 2 weeks and plan on doing many tasks. These could include:
- Painting nurseries with educational murals
- Teaching in a school
- Organising sports events with the local children
- Installing much needed facilities for a local community/school
- Repairing and maintenance work
- Improving rundown bathrooms and kitchens
- Bringing fresh water to small villages

The cost of the trip will be entirely paid for by each students fundraising efforts. We have the next 17 months to organise events and collect sponsers in order for each of us to go on the trip.

I feel this trip will be very beneficial for me, as not only do I get to travel but I get to help people from the other side of the world, and I don't think I'm going to get another opportunity like this again!
