Weʼve raised £5,330 to Help the Irwin family following their tragic loss
- Funded on Tuesday, 24th January 2017
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
On December 24th 2016, Ross's family and friends woke up to learn that their son had tragically passed away in an accident. This is devastating news for everyone as Ross was such a warm, kind and funny individual who will be sorely missed. There will always be a huge hole in our lives now but he gave us so many great memories that we will all carry forever.
I would ask that if anyone can spare any money in this time of giving, that you please donate it here and hopefully we can provide some form of relief to the family in this financially challenging time of year.
RIP Ross Irwin

7 years agoPART 3. On behalf of family and friends, I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who's put any amount into this fund, anyone who's shared it and told his story. Without you we wouldn't have been able to have the amazing service we did, with mourners so great in numbers they had to stand in the corridor and even outside! I will be closing this fund at 7pm today, join me in saying Happy Birthday to Ross who would have been 23 today. We don't have the pleasure of growing old with him, but we have memories to carry for a lifetime. RIP.

Deb saw the news article and saw the images of the children lying in hospital with tubes up their noses and she instantly remembered Ross in his first moments, where he was premature and acutely ill. 7 years agoPART 1 Hello all, First of all, Ross had the best possible send off on the 9th, it was truly beautiful and we did him proud that day. The service consisted of his favourite music with words from friends, all wrapped together by a fantastic Humanist celebrant who really brought the main message of celebrating Ross's life and using this difficult time to band together and become stronger for him. Ross's casket was clad with marvel comics, it was really something special to see and I know that he would have loved it. Continued...
