Hello!

Staff from the Royal Glamorgan Hospital Diabetes Department will be taking part in the Cardiff Bay Relay Sprint Triathlon on Sunday 25th June 2017. There are 5 teams in total with thirteen members of staff taking on either one or two legs from the 750m open water swim, 20k bike ride, and 5k run.

The athletes have been in training for several months and we are expecting some strong performances!

Swimmers : Lisa Phipps, Andy Bray, Fred Keen, Keri Hutchinson, Mike Atkinson

Cyclists : Lisa Phipps, Ruby Miller, Andy Bray, Stephan Noyvirt, Neil Jones

Runners : Mirena Noyvirt, Nia Rathbone, Nadia Yoxen, Melanie Nana, Gaynor Harrison

We are raising money to be split equally between two worthy causes - Diabetes UK and the Royal Glamorgan Hospital Diabetes Department.

Any donation which you feel able would to make would be greatly appreciated, and will hopefully make a difference to the care of diabetes both nationally and locally.

Finally, feel free to come down to Cardiff Bay to support on the day!
