Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
Neil has a dream to visit Rwanda in Africa. The next trip is planned for 2nd August 2017
The church he attends are amazing. They support Rwanda and have been going over and changing lives for many years now. Neil has always wanted to go and supported the church throughout all their achievements but hasn't been able go himself.
Neil is a wonderful man who has Cerebral Palsy, but doesn't let this get in his way. Neil is a fun loving man that has a brilliant sense of humour. Neil is in a wheel chair most of the time so planning trips and outings is key.
In order for Neil to go to Rwanda there has to be carefully selected accommodation and changes to the normal trips that happen annually. Hiring alternative transport, going on different routes that don't involve hills which means longer journeys.
Neil also has to have a carer (myself) to assist him and ensure he's happy throughout the trip I've known and supported Neil for over 2 years and I can't think of anyone more deserving to have his wish granted. But having a carer also means more money.
So we would be extemely grateful and humbled if you would be able to donate any money to help get Neil to Rwanda. We'll be visiting the premature baby unit, schools, university and churches as well as families who have had help with building houses... and not forgetting Brenda... Neils cow!
Thank you in advance
Kay and Neil x

7 years agoThank you to everyone who has already donated, this means so much and we're extremely grateful. Please can you spread the word and share the fundraising page please. Were currently starting to plan an event for February 2017 to get awareness of all the support for Rwanda so that should be a fab day.

Good luck with the fund raising, this is from the Groves Family, in memory of Terry, who used to enjoy his football chats with Neil at Bescot.
