The present owner of the beautiful Cabinet at Reed has turned it into a house without first applying for the correct permissions. He has subsequently applied for retrospective change of use and modifications to a grade II listed building.
This outrageous situation has to be put right. The Save The Cabinet Action Group has been set up to fight to not only ensure that the permissions are refused but also to have the building restored as it was to reopen as a pub.
We need to raise funds to cover the costs associated with our fight, especially professional fees for expert help and advice which has already had a hugely positive impact on our campaign.
We have already raised money from a very successful Pop-up-Pub night and private donations, but we still have a way to go.
PLEASE HELP SAVE THE CABINET!
