Story
The Scottish Borders Youth Brass Band consists of young brass and percussion musicians, ages 11-18, drawing on musicians from all over the Scottish Borders, including Langholm.
The band, which reformed in 2016, performed brilliantly and won the Senior section at the Scottish Brass Band Championships in 2016, which qualifies them to represent Scotland at the European Championships, to be held in Ostend in Belgium, in April 2017.
We are now seeking donations from any interested individuals, businesses and organisations, who would like to support this talented and enthusiastic group of young musicians as they represent Scotland at one of the most prestigious competitions in the world.

7 years agoAs the date of the European Championships is fast approaching, I wanted to take a last opportunity to say an enormous thank you! On behalf of the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association, and all of the young people, friends and family who have put in an immense effort to make the dream of competing in Ostend a reality, we thank everyone who has made a donation through this website. Fundraising will continue at a number of events, but I'm delighted that the sum raised by everyone here has made a valuable contribution to the total. Thank you all!
