Story
St Chad's College Charity Fashion show is back!!
On Friday 16th June, 18 students will be strutting their stuff on the St Chad's catwalk.
This year our theme is 'break the label' and we are proud to be supporting the charity Mental Health North East. This small charity works to improve and protect mental health services in the North East of England. Mental health problems effect 1 in 4 adults and 1 in 10 children, illustrating the importance of the work of charities like MHNE. A few of MHNE’s recent projects include the Greening the Gap campaign, a project encouraging people to enjoy the emotional benefits of spending time outdoors, as well as working to improve local mental health NHS services by listening to patients and discovering what changes they believe will make their support programmes most effective.
For more information of the work of MHNE visit http://mhne.org.uk/
Please help us support MHNE, reduce the stigma around mental illness and #breakthelabel

I have been very impressed by how much the students who are organising this event know about mental ill health but even more impressed by their commitment to improving mental health for others
