For seven years Fiona Young has been our tireless chairwoman of Side Saddle Association Area 9. This is a task she has done with tact enthusiasm and endless good humour and we're having a whip-round to say thank you! Fiona joined the association in 1991 and in her time as chairwoman she has instigated the biennial Scottish National Show and overseen Area 9's debut onto the internet. Herself a champion side saddle rider she is always encouraging to new starters and experienced riders alike. The aim is to show our gratitude with a side saddle figurine to be presented on 2nd June.
