I am raising funds by abseiling down the inside of the Anglican Catherdral to raise funds for the Sefton Carers Group based in Formby. This provides an opportunity for Carers and those they care for to get out and socialise over a lunchtime meal provided by volunteers and once in a while providing funds for them all to have a day out and a little bit of relaxation.Many of the Carers are elderly and their children are in their fifties or older,so communication with others is vital and helps them to talk with people in a similar situation and help them realise they are not alone and help is there should they choose to accept it
