Story
Juanita Gail Newcombe died aged 18yrs. She was riding as a pillion on a motorbike with her first love, when a young lad drink driving was in a loan car and decided to over take a lorry on a bad blind bend on wrong side of the road and collided with Motorcycle head on. Juanitas partner was hospitalised for many months and had to learn to walk all over again and Juanita died at the road side. Juanitas mother has dementia and believes her daughter is alive and Juanita will be home soon and signed the land back to council. Juanitas best friend Jana was given the plot from Juanitas mother aged 84yrs with conditions of upkeep and general cleaning and hedge cutting, mowing etc which jana has done for the last 26years without fail, even when Jana herself has suffered cancer on and off since age 19yrs and signed herself out of hospital to tend to grave site. Jana has a daughter called Juanita who was nearly 1when Juanita died and big Juanita adored baby Juanita and was looking forward to 1st birthday which she never got to see. Juanitas middle sister moved 2hrs away and doesnt tend to grave and juanitas oldest sibling is in serious ill health she would struggle to tend to site. But with full blessing of oldest sibling Jana was told fight for her sisters plot to warn all using bend on A569.We wish to buy the plot off the council as juanitas ashes are buried there along with personal items and we wish to put a small ornament which has been there before and removed by highways agency. Juanita was cremated at st helens crematorium in March 1990 days before her 19th birthday and her ashes was placed with a full road side service from a local vicar family and close friends. Please please help us to get the small plot back from St helens council and highways agency so Juanita can have her resting place left alone and undisturbed as a education to all using A569 to take care on such a bad blind bend as it has done for last 26yrs thank you from jana dave and family
