In memory of Selina, we would like to help fund raise for St Cuthbert's Church, Dufton. Living right beside the church Selina often planted daffodils, honesty and many other flowers in the churchyard ensuring it looked lovely for the many visitors and walkers, who pass through every year.

The little sandstone Parish Church of St Cuthbert, Dufton, lies along a field track between the villages of Dufton and Knock, in a churchyard encircled by trees. From the churchyard, fine views are to be had of Dufton Pike and the Pennines.

There are records of it from as far back as 1292, although it was altered and a tower added in 1784. The stained glass, richly coloured lozenges, is by Faucet of Appleby.

Tradition has it that the original church was built on one of the sites where monks from Lindisfarne rested themselves and the body of St. Cuthbert during their flight from the Vikings in 865/6.
