This year's Smithdown Road Festival was by far the biggest and most ambitious yet! With the incredible Palm House stepping in at the last minute for our main stage, along with the brilliant bars and cafes on Smithdown Road itself.

However...after having to move the main area from The Mystery to the Palm House due to safety issues with the council, our main sponsor pulled out and left us with a £20,000 hole to fill in order to cover costs such as PA Hire, Artists Fees and Security.

We raised some of this through running the bar at the main stage, but we still have so much more to pay out! There are only three of us doing this whole thing, and we simply don't have that sort of money.

If you had a great time over the weekend (and by our count about 17,000 of you did!) please please help out with whatever you can, so that we can put the event on again next year! And for years to come!
