After going back and forth for 11 months, our father, Steve Hill, has been told the heartbreaking news he has pancreatic cancer which is uncureable and inoperable and that the NHS cannot help any further apart from chemo.

After doing some research into this we have found a private hospital in London that offers a new treatment called Nanoknife which offers treatment for people like our Dad with some success stories. Once the tumour has shrunk in size we can go ahead with this (fingers crossed the chemo works). We have also found a hospital in Germany that offers whipple surgery once again with positive outcomes. Until we get the approval rough estimates of the surgery are £15,000 each.

This has given us all hope that we can pro long Steve Hill's life and that we need to keep fighting.

Steve Hill has worked all his life and we feel if the NHS cannot help us then we need to explore different options as above.

I will be posting along the way updates to where the money has gone i.e. private scans, surgery etc and progress for Steve. Along the way we will be doing other fund raising events that will also be posted.
