After over 7 weeks of hunting tirelessly for Stan the Golden Eagle we have sadly had to conclude that he is now almost certainly dead. In over 40 years of caring and flying birds this is the first time I have had to bear such an awful disaster. We have been offered by way of easing the pain a potential breeding pair of Golden Eagles. These birds have been bred in captivity and have paired up and have yet to breed but given good management and some luck should and could produce young in the near future. Individual Eagles usually cost between £4000 and £5000 but we have been offered this pair for just £6000 which represents a very kind and generous offer.

We are looking to raise this amount not just to buy this pair of birds but possibly also as the first step to caring for sick and injured wild birds. We have experience in caring for many different species of wild birds from Owls to Buzzards to Chaffinches to a Gannet.
Any excess funds raised will be used for wild bird care either by us or passed on to one of the recognised charities that does this work such as the Raptor Trust who do a lot of genuine work in this field.
