Brilliant News!!!!!

Cal and the Governing Body are delighted to announce that they have negotiated with the London borough of Haringey for them to pay for the resurfacing of the infant playground during the summer holiday!!! Fantastic news!
This means that donations already made and further donations will still be used to install crucially needed canopies for shade, seating areas and play equipment in BOTH the Junior and Infant playgrounds.
Thank you to everyone who has donated already, please spread the word, every little will help transform the children's play area.

Stroud Green Primary School is well over 100 years old and our playgrounds haven't been resurfaced in over 40 years! In these difficult financial times the school is struggling to fund the resurfacing costs of both playgrounds (juniors and infants). If you are parent at the school you will know both playgrounds are in a terrible state with very uneven surfaces, tree roots and fallen drains. The school has found the money to have one playground (juniors) resurfaced but has no money to make the same improvements to the infant playground - they need our help! This crowdfunding site has been set up by the Friends of Stroud Green to raise awareness of the funding crisis and try and get much needed funds to improve the play spaces for children at Stroud Green. Having a safe place to play is really important to all children. The school leadership team are making massive improvements to the school in many areas and need our support.
