A friend of mine in Uganda began to help kids in the Deaf School to play tennis, then in another school with very poor children and then in a school for orphans which I've been involved with for nearly 20 years. They need nets, rackets, tennis shoes and tennis clothes - so we thought we'd collect a few old rackets and take them out on my next trip - we collected so much we're going to have to ship it out!
If you can help us raise £350 we'll ship and I'll distribute it when I'm out there in the first week of January. Anything that's over and above the shipping costs will be used to buy string, grips and other consumables for the kids.
