    Story

The Actors' Workshop has built an extraordinary record for getting students into drama school. Each year, more than 60% of our College Foundation Course members are offered places on BA/MA courses at accredited conservatoires. Taught exclusively by industry professionals, our courses for teenagers and adults draw students from all over the country and beyond; some move to Bristol specially to train with us.

After years of renting by the hour, we are finally moving into our own space at Factory 8 in Bedminster, Bristol as associate artists of Gathering Voices (www.gatheringvoices.org.uk). This is so exciting! We will be able to expand all we do and have the space to start the theatre company we have always wanted! As you can see though, the space needs some work! We urgently need to fund a removable dance floor and some blacks (so we can subdivide the space into three rehearsal/teaching zones)

Can you help us?? Are you a graduate of the College Foundation Course now working in the industry? Did you son/daughter get into drama school because of The Actors' Workshop? Are you just passionate about the arts in Bristol? PLEASE, PLEASE give as much or as little as you can: every penny will be used to turn the space into a creative hub, helping more young performers realise their dreams and providing a crucial stepping stone into the profession.

    Thank you!!
