3rd Whitburn Guides are fundraising to help buy new tents and to subsidise the cost of going to camp this year. For some of the girls it will be their first camping experience.

As part of our fundraising drive we will be taking part in the Livingston Parkrun on Saturday 25 February, for some of the girls this will be a massive challenge.

Guiding give girls and Young women, as well as adult volunteers, the chance to take part in amazing and sometimes life changing activities. Girls can learn valuable life skills and experience things they may not otherwise have the opportunity to. Girlguidng provides a safe, girl only, space for them to thrive and grow.

All money raised will be used to purchase new camping equipment and to subsidise the cost of going away.

Camps and holidays are a popular part of Guiding where girls learn many new skills and experience life from a different perspective.
