Thomas the cat is a very special cat that lives at and is a huge part of our school. Thomas has recently been very poorly which has meant there is a very big vet bill to pay. We have been declined pet insurance for Thomas many times, due to the fact that companies say no one is responsible for Thomas during the night as he lives at a school. As you can imagine this is very frustrating, especially when we are willing to pay this to ensure Thomas is medically covered.

Thomas provides many things for our school community. He is a companion to many- teachers and pupils, he is something that the children can learn to care for (a responsibility) and also learn boundaries (when he is not feeling so cuddly!) which is a huge thing to learn as a child. Thomas gives great affection and comfort to our children when they need a bit of a boost. He attends assemblies, takes naps in our classrooms, listens to the children whilst they read and joins us on the playground. All in all, Thomas is a part of our school who is loved, valued and adored.

We are asking for help with Thomas' vet bill due to being refused pet insurance, the school budget will have to cover the majority of it. If you can help us, even with a small amount, it would be greatly appreciated (by Thomas and us!).
