Meet Toby and Peca.

Both these horses were found in January 2017 in appalling condition. Authorities were involved and we managed to get these beautiful horses to safety and reunited with their old owners who are starting their slow rehabilitation.

We are now hoping to raise £1000 (although we expect bills to be much higher than this) to help fund their slow and expensive recovery.

When a horse is neglected in this way it is not just the expense of the specialist feed but also vets bills.
Both horses have a massive worm infestation which causes all sorts of other complications. Both were crawling with lice causing chronic skin conditions and Toby has started losing his hair and has sores on his skin.
After a most recent vet visit we fear Toby may have a neurological problem effecting the muscles controlling his bladder and anus.

Theses horses may be back in safe hands but they are by no means out of the woods. Especially Toby who will probably have lasting internal damage after this terrible ordeal.

Every penny donated will go towards the rehabilitation of both Toby and Peca and will be so gratefully received and any monies left over will be used to professionally rehabilitate horses or ponies suffering a similar fate.
