    Story

    Hi everyone!

I'm a language teacher in an inner city secondary school in London.
I have 22 students who are dreaming of going to Japan in February half term to practise the language they love learning and experience first hand the Japanese culture. However there is a massive hurdle: they can't afford to go there.
All these students are real stars; they run clubs in school, have excellent behaviour in and out of school and all learn Japanese at school. I want to do everything I can to support them and that's why I have created this page.
The situation is simple: the school is supportive of the trip but cannot fund all of it. Each pupil has been putting money aside and is raising money as well. On average, each student need to raise about £300.
They have made a good start by organising yard sales and by securing a table at Southwark Cathedral Christmas Market (it's on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd, Friday 4th December, feel free to come ans see us) and we will sale a lot of Christmas and Japan related items. However I fear we will be still very far from what we need to raise.
If you could help these kids to make their dream come true, it would be awesome. Any amount -small or big- will be very appreciated!!
