HOW WILL YOUR DONATION HELP

To have a chance of success we need to deploy professional and legal skills where we could influence the Inspector and the appeal Inquiry in June 2017. We will deploy planning, transport and flood risk professionals and possibly a barrister (if funds can stretch). We have budgeted a provisional figure of £8k but will go out to a competitive tender of three quotes to ensure we get best value for our money and will prioritise these as soon as we know the level of funds available.

There is no guarantee we will be successful but we have a fair chance, this application has previously been declined on 14 planning grounds and not making our case will mean that development on the greenbelt is inevitable.

As well as increased flood risk for local residents and the loss of the Green Belt, the proposed large-scale development would grid lock key junctions in Gloucester and along our narrow country lanes. This landscape hosts the Gloucestershire Way and links to the Severn way, a major elevated new road is planned and would destroy the landscape.
