    Story

UCL's Homeless Period charity group are working to help vulnerable women in our local community access sanitary products more easily. Homeless women don't have access to sanitary products and are often forced to choose between bleeding on the street or stealing sanitary products and napkins - which is less undignified? Because of their lack of access to these products, these women become more vulnerable to infection and toxic shock syndrome. While many homeless shelters in London provide visitors with free condoms and razors, they do not have the budget to provide women with pads and tampons. That's where we come in! All money donations will be used to purchase sanitary products (pads, tampons, underwear, baby wipes, etc.). We will then distribute them to local homeless shelters, who will then be able to pass on to their female and trans visitors.
