We have been tearful as so many of you will have been at the developing situation in Ukraine. Seeing all that’s unfolding on the news and social media, we set up our page as a few people coming together to gather pet supplies for Ukraine. Within 4 days the appeal snowballed beyond all expectations, so many kind hearted people from Aberdeen, the shire, and further afield have donated an immense amount. We will no longer be able to use vans for transporting (original plan), due to the large volume we have received we are now in the process of contacting hauliers. This just giving page is to cover any transportation costs incurred, any funds raised over and above these costs will be put towards further supplies and the rescues on the frontline. The appeal now has so many amazing volunteers, drop off points, van/car drivers, Storage facilities etc. Many people have also asked to donate money for the appeal to get the supplies and transport required, hence the reason for this page. With all the suffering we are seeing on the news and social media this is our way of showing support, care and that we are here to help. We’re very emotional at all the compassion shown already.
