Story
Hello,
We are from the University of Huddersfield and we are on the 1st place in 2A Northern tier of BUCS league. Because of lack of money needed for transportation, our university may need to withdraw our club from the BUCS league. the lack of money occurred because of the debt which was made last year and was not noticed by university student union.
We have 2 teams-women and men. VOLLEYBALL IS OUR PASSION AND ITS HELP US TO RELAX. Playing sports and representing university should be free however every member of the team had to pay 50 pounds of membership to be able to even be included in the team. Women are on the first position in the 2A BUCS league and we would love to win this league. The ladies team also came through to the quater finals of Northern cup conference.
The money from fundraising would go to cover last year debt and pay for the transport to the next matches.
