Story
This beautiful and loving 45 year old Man is my Brother Mark, he was recently diagnosed with PTSD, stemming from 17 years in HM Forces. Mark has seen active service several times during his military life. After undergoing therapy with some of the UK's understated and few and far between centers, we are starting a slow healing process. Mark has good support from Combat Stress and Walking with the wounded, however in his day to day life he is terribly lonely. I have read about Dogs that are helping young Veterans to heal and support them through, unfortunately there is not a facility like this in our area. Mark was a trained Dog handler in the Army and he is never happier than when he looks after Family dogs. Please help me to raise money for us to buy Mark a forever friend. Loneliness is a dreadful thing.
Thank you for reading our story.

7 years agoI am so grateful for all the kindness and support give to Mark since I opened this page and we have collectively reached our £400 ! Wow....seeing as we still have another 20 days to go I would like to say that for those of you who would still like to donate, any extra funds will go towards equipment needed for Mark's new friend. As I have said for several days £2 is the minimum you can donate, but I think you will agree that I am not rating people's kindness by the amount they donate. God Bless you all xxxxxx🐶🐶

7 years agoHello all you lovely people, well a big thank you to everyone who has donated to Mark and his need for this furry companion, as you will probably realise Mark can not deal with Facebook or the internet at the moment, but yesterday afternoon I went to see him and told him of your kindness and he cried. It is very difficult and humbling to see your giant of a Brother so overcome with emotion, so if I say he is grateful you will understand. If you want to donate but feel that a small amount like £2.00 would be embarrassing, It would be a blessin
