Story
We are a group of young gymnasts from Waveney Gymnastics Club that have been selected to compete at The Special Olympics Summer Games 2017. This is a fantastic opportunity to show off our gymnastics as well as develop our life skills. The Olympic movement is made up of three parts, Olympics, Paralympics and Special Olympics which is for people with a Learning or Intellectual Disability. We will be heading to Sheffield in August of next year for a week to compete as well as take part in the opening and closing ceremony. This could also lead onto competing internationally for some. As you can imagine it does cost to enter. In fact it costs £375 per athlete for entry, accomodation and food. On top of that we need training kit, competition kit and ceremony outfits, training and travel costs not to mention the qualifying competitions leading up to it.
Please help to fulfill our dreams by donating generously. Thank you.

7 years agoThanks to everyone who has contributed to enable our gymnasts to compete at the Special Olympics National games, THIS YEAR!! It's been a truely incredible journey so far and can't wait for the rest of it. None of this would possible without your generous support and that of individual and company sponsors. We have a few more fundraising events coming up over the next few months, so please keep an eye out for them. Many thanks again, Louise & Simon, Grace, Emily, Ben, Rudi, Jason, Jack, Jordan, Finley and Jack.
