Hello, my name is Bart, I will be 2 on 9th December. I'm very cheerful and always smiling boy. Unfortunately 3 weeks after my birth I stopped moving. My parents took me to the hospital and after many days doctors find out what is wrong with me. My family heard devastating diagnosis. I have SMA Type1( spinal muscular atrophy) genetic disorder. I have begun my battle with time and SMA, battle for health and life.
I can't eat, I can't move, I can't do anything on my own. I'm slave in my own body. But you can help me donate money for my daily rehabilitation, medical equipment and most important thing CURE for SMA (nusinersen) hopefully will be available early next year. Please give me chance for a normal life.
