XPO Logistics in Bradford are using this page to help support four local, underfunded charitable causes throughout 2017/18.

One of our awesome employees - Ryan Doherty - is bravely tackling a cycle ride along the length of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal in August this year, to help us reach our fund-raising target.

Ryan explains: "I am doing the full 127 miles of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal over 2 days for XPO Bradford's four amazing charities. Any donation you can make - large or small - will be really appreciated. It's a great challenge for me, and it looks like being a solo mission, unless any of my colleagues choose to come along too!"

Ryan's cycling to raise money for our quartet of charities, which make up our Charity of the Year panel. The list looks like this:

Bradford Night Stop – provides emergency homeless accommodation for 16-25 year olds
Candlelighters - support children facing cancer and their families across Yorkshire
Martin House - based in Wetherby, Martin House cares for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses
Pawprints Cat Rescue – local cat rescue with up to 60 cats and kittens for rehoming and fostering at any time

XPO Logistics are passionate about making a difference in the local communities in which they operate, and here at XPO Bradford, "Community" is one of the site's four commitments. Our Director tells us: "Bradford is committed to playing an active role in our community, bringing positive change to those in need, and being exemplary environmental neighbours."
