I am raising money to help realise a public sculpture at the Broomhill Art Hotel in Devon.

Broomhill is an art hotel; with an international sculpture park, a contemporary art gallery and an award-winning slow food restaurant, all nestled in a glorious valley in North Devon. Home of the Broomhill Art & Sculpture Foundation, which runs an annual sculpture competition:- The National Sculpture Prize.

The sculpture garden has thousands of visitors each year, alongside the visitors who are guests within the hotel. It is fast becoming a tourist location and gaining acclaim for this commissioning programme with visitors and locals alike, with 2,482 Facebook Followers, 1,345 Twitter Followers, 663 Instagram Followers and 314 Trip Advisor Reviews.

I need to raise £3000 on top of the money pledged by the National Sculpture Prize to complete my sculpture. Any pledge of money from £10 to £1,000 is hugely appreciated to make this piece a reality.

My proposal is a reflective disc which fans out from the base of a tree to perfectly reflect the tree canopy, like gazing into a perfectly still lake. By confronting you with a view you would never normally spot the sculpture aims to make you relook at the world around you and stop you looking at your feet.
