This little bench was given as a gift for two elderly gentlemen to rest during their morning walk. It has created a lovely meeting place for friends and dog walkers who have supported one another through lockdown. But is has been vandelised. It’s such a shame that the kids who did the damage didn’t stop for a second to wonder why the bench had been put there.

It would be lovely if we could gather together some contributions so that Mark and Angie Autey who have offered to replace, and fit the bench so that is embedded onto a concrete plinth can be repaid for their generosity.

Due to popular demand, and having met our target, we are going to continue raising funds for repairs and to consider other benches around the village. Thank you everyone for your support.
