    Story

I want you to join me in financially supporting a good friend of mine who wants to continue on his journey to seek knowledge of sacred Islamic sciences.

He converted to Islam in the year 1998. After having studied with the scholars in UK for a short time, he decided to pursue further studies in Syria and left UK, eight years ago. Before leaving for Syria, he was told that he will be fully sponsored throughout the course of his studies. However, after travelling to Syria with his wife and two children, he was told that he would no longer be able to get a sponsorship. He remained in Syria for four years, then relocated to Jordan in 2012 and continued his Islamic studies full-time. Since then he has been getting financial support from his family and friends.

Along with his full-time studies, he also teaches Fiqh, Arabic Language, Logic and Aqidah to students in his locality and online. He visits UK twice a year and spends time teaching in mosques across the country.
He is currently studying the following texts:

    In Fiqh:
    — Hidayah, an advanced text in the Hanafi school.
    — Jawharah al-Nayirah, a commentary on Quduri.
    — Sharh al-Wiqaya
    — Al-Minhaj, (Shafi'i Fiqh)

    In Usul al-Fiqh:
    — Sharh ibn Malak on the Manar of Imam Nasafi
    — Mizan al-Usul of Imam Samarqandi
    — Nurul Anwar Sharh Manar

    In Aqidah:
    — Sharh Aqaid al-Nasafiyah
    — Al-Iqtisad of Imam Ghazali

    Arabic language:
    — Sharh Alfiya ibn Malik

    Tafsir:
    — Al-Nasafi
    — Al-Baydawi

These funds will provide him with a livelihood, help pay for his day-to-day expenses, tuition costs for himself and his children who are also studying Islamic sciences and are currently memorising the Qur'an.

By supporting this family which is dedicated to learning and disseminating sacred sciences of our religion, you are investing in our future by ensuring that the teachings of our religion are preserved and students are supported in their noble endeavours.
