I am raising money to help me move to Canada. After meeting and falling in love with my Canadian partner, we decided to begin the long process of me moving to Canada. As part of this process, for the visa I require I have to spend six months in Canada. After my visit to Canada, we decided that I would return to the UK and my job and put as much money in the bank as possible to show that I am able to support myself there and I am not intending to work.

On my return to work I walked in to be told that I had been replaced as they “were not sure” when I would return. Despite having been aware of my return date, having approved my time off in the first instance and knowing that I would definitely be returning. So at the worst possible time I was left without a job.

I am currently trying to sell literally everything I own in order to fund my trip. I have a conditional offer of employment however due to their restrictions it will take another few weeks for me to get their preferred proofs of ID. Which means I am still not earning money.

I am doing everything to find ANY work I can but it seems that even though I’m prepared to scrub toilets with a toothbrush it‘s really tough to find work. This really is a last attempt to help me get to Canada, if you can help in any way I will be so grateful
