Story
A Special Olympics Basketball club established in May 2007 that is open to children and adults with an intellectual disability within the community.
Every 4 years Special Olympics Ireland hold the All Ireland Games as part of their 4 year cycle. We were honoured to have 12 athletes and 3 volunteers selected to represent Team Ulster at the Special Olympics 2018 All Ireland Games in Dublin. With this great honour comes great expense and to attend the games next year we as a club need to raise £6000 (£400 per person) to cover costs.
We do not receive any funding for this and we would be very thankful for any donation no matter how small that will take us towards our goal and give our wonderful athletes the opportunity and experience they will never forget.
