The active citizens community volunteers group is comprised of local residents who want to make a difference in our community.

As a group we collaborate on various events and activities throughout the month to tackle issues, such as community speed watches and organising group litter picking days. We also have an allotment where we grow fruit and vegetables, which we distribute to those in need within the community.

We are currently raising funds for various initiatives such as, to replace the vandalised glass in our community greenhouse and buy materials for the planters in the Mere Green area.
