This year I'll be running the Swansea Half Marathon for a charity Cariad. They privide defribilators and defribilator/CPR training at schools etc. I believe defribilators should be in all public places including and especially gyms etc.

Heart condition come on many different forms. Some children are born with heart defects whilst others do not know they have any problems and live seemingly normal lives until they get symptoms or dies from an undiagnosed condition.
My grandfather lived a healthy life, didn't smoke or drink alcohol and died of an undiagnosed heart condition at 61.
My dad was taken ill last year with chest pains and was luckily treated in time and diagnosed with Artirial Failure (AF) after extensive treatment he is now fit and well, thankfully.
My 14 year old sister was admitted to hospital a few weeks ago after she collapsed at home and is now waiting to see a cardiologist regarding her undiagnosed condition. Her heart is beating with extra beats and is causing her dizzy spells and sickness.
