Some of you know that recently two friends of mine have been diagnosed with cancer. Such news has been terribly upsetting to all involved. I have struggled to know what to do to find some small way make a little difference. So one week from today I will be having my hair chopped off all in the name of charity. Not quite GI Joe, more just getting rid of a lot of it. The hair is being donated to a local charity who make real hair wigs for both adults and children who have lost their hair for a variety of reasons including cancer. Friends and family have offered a few pennies (thank you in advance) which will be split between Grace and Rory’s fund and the cancer unit where Amanda has received her treatment. I will of course post before and after photos.
