Dear family and friends,

I have set up this page to collect donations for the children of Mosul, and their families. As Saif and I are expecting our new baby, all I can think of is those children who need urgent medical care and support. We have been blessed to be surrounded by love and care and instead of receiving gifts for our new born we kindly ask you to donate here, this is of course optional and you don't have to do it but we would be really happy if you are willing to help.

I will be crowdfunding, which means all donations will be sent to a charity (s) of my choosing, I have asked some trusted friends to recommend local charities that are able to access those in need in Mosul and surrounding areas, as you know access is extremely difficult due to the ongoing infighting and the frail security situation. This is my first attempt at crowdfunding, once donations are received I will be sharing updates on where the money was sent, which projects it supported, and the relief it helped ease even for a short period of time.
