Story
Recently I attended a first Aid Course, I witnessed the need for a Defibrillator to be present, especially when carrying out fitness activities.
I would like to raise money for our local cricket club Langley mill United to Purchase a Defibrillator which will be situated in our ground on
Station road ,Langley Mill. Should any of the players and spectators, young or old, suffer from cardiac issues this life saving equipment will be both available and invaluable!
Immediate defibrillation can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
Around 30,000 people have a cardiac arrest each year outside the confines of a hospital.
The chance of survival after the heart stops falls by around 10% for every minute that passes without defibrillation.
Anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated in helping a local club to provide life saving equipment for all that attend.
