Story
My name is Adrien Amblard, I am 15 years old and I have just finished my GCSE exams (i.e. seconde / sophomore year) in the British Section of the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in London. I am going to Nepal in October with twenty schoolmates on a program organised by the charity, Global Action. We are going there to a Tibetan refugee camp, where many faced extreme poverty, even before the April 2015 earthquake. The exact project has yet to be finalised, but it will involve rebuilding, raising the literacy rate in the camp as well as improving the quality of life.

6 years agoThank you so much to each and every one of you who supported me. Here is a picture of me and friends repainting a community centre in Pokhara. As we left we saw many smiling faces and I was very glad we have made a difference in that community. The money raised from this website, combined with other money I raised, will go to three charities/organisations: Community Action Nepal, Gurkha Welfare Trust and Practical Action.
